Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To help you make informed decisions and provide a smooth booking experience, we have outlined our cancellation policy below.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your expedition.

  • You can cancel your booking up to two weeks before the trip and receive a full refund.

  • Single whale watch tickets can be canceled for a full refund if the request is made at least 24 hours before the trip start, the official cutoff time is  8:30Am PST.

  • For cancellations made between two weeks and eight days before the trip, we will refund up to 60% of the ticket cost.

  • For cancellations made between seven days and 49 hours before the trip, we will refund up to 40% of the ticket cost.

 

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of the expedition.

  • No-Show Policy
    If you fail to show up for your scheduled expedition:

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to issue any refunds or reschedule your trip due to the operational costs and reserved space. However, you are always welcome to book another trip at your convenience (Subject to availability)

  • Cancellation Policy for Group Bookings
    For group bookings, if canceling an individual ticket reduces the group size below the minimum required to operate the trip (three guests), the cancellation will apply to the entire booking, and refunds cannot be issued.

  • To accommodate, we offer:

  • A voucher for the canceled guest(s), valid for a future trip within one year.

  • The option to reschedule the entire group to a new date.

  • In any of our experiences, while our captains make every effort to locate marine wildlife, sightings cannot be guaranteed due to the unpredictable nature of these animals in their natural habitat.  Please note Refunds are not available if wildlife is not observed during the expedition.

  • In case of unfavorable weather conditions, we reserve the right to reschedule the expedition for the earliest available date. If a suitable alternative date cannot be found due to any circumstance, we will issue you a gift card that can be used for any of our expeditions within 24 months from the issue date.If you opt for a cash refund, we can refund up to 80% of the ticket cost. This is because our processing fees are non-refundable.

  • Please note that when issuing partial refunds, we are unable to refund the booking fee and tax. You will be refunded the ticket price as our booking system only allows us to refund booking fees and tax on full refunds.

  • Gift cards cannot be refunded for cash in any circumstance. If you paid with a gift card and we have to cancel the trip, we will refund the gift card credit, which can be used for any of our offerings.

  • You can change the date of your trip up to one time, provided you give us at least two weeks' notice. 

  • Please note are unable to issue cash refunds after requesting a date change. We can either leave your ticket pending to be rebooked to a later date or we will refund you into a gift card credit, which can be used for any of our offerings. 

  • If we have to cancel an expedition due to not meeting the minimum passenger threshold, you can purchase an additional ticket to reach the threshold, reschedule for a later date, or receive a full refund.​

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these cancellation policies, at any time.
